El Patio - SAN PATRICIO

Staff was friendly and helped us figure out the menu. Things had changed drastically since the last time we had been there so we were disappointed. They had many people there though.

5 friends went to El Patio tonight for a birthday celebration and were overwhelmed with the food quality. Free appetizers included sliced tomatoes and cheese with oil and balsamic vinegar yum) My wife wanted Fettucine Alfredo, 2 ordered Pizza Canadiense, one Pizza vegetarian and one ordered fish stuffed with cheese and spinach. Everything was great but the fish was El Dorado (Mahi Mahi to Americans) and it was outstanding! We had 2 margaritas or vino blanco each, topped of with a free frozen ice cream treat. The bill came to 1,050 pesos ($70 Can $) or US $ 52 unbelievable,Great ambiance, super clean upstairs on a fully covered patio. Thank you Marcela!

We ate several excellent breakfasts at El Patio until our son ordered a breakfast burrito that had "funny" tasting chicken in it. They had to go out someplace to get the chicken so it probably was not prepared there. That was about 10 days ago and he is still very ill with no cause determined. Be careful about what you order. Usually just fine,,,but not always.

Though I am not a breakfast person, we go there quite often. Food and service are great and the owners are very personable.
