We had an absolutely amazing time at the Osteria IL Papero: The food was absolutely on point. The chef plays a lot with the flavors and designs dishes with very rare ingredients (in our case black garlic, and aged anchovies liquid) The chef Leandro is unbelievably friendly. Since we didn't speak a word Italian, he took the time to introduce the menu to us, dish by dish in English. You really see his passion for food when he did, it's contagious and you see this back in the food. The prices are very fair, good even when you see the quality. We (2 people) dined for roughly 60/70 euro The menu changes every month, which means even more amazing dishes. All in all, the experience at Osteria IL Papero really made our stay in Empoli. Thanks to Leandro and his crew for thins amazing experience.
Five stars are not enough to describe the wonderful afternoon, we spent at this great restaurant the food was wonderful the service spectacular and the music by the owner, and the cook transported us with his blues..

Ristorante molto caldo e accogliente. Ogni dettaglio denota gusto e ricercatezza, nulla è banale. Materia prima ricercata, di ottima qualità e locale che lo chef trasforma in modo da esaltarne le qualità e stimolare il palato, rendendo la cena un'esperienza unica, fatta di sapori e di cultura. Ottima carta dei vini che lo chef abbina sapientemente alla varie portate. Esperienza da ripetere più e più volte. Lo consiglio a coloro che vivono il cibo come un'esperienza!
