Tacos Don Felix En la Casa

Have lived in San Miguel de Allende for about a year now. This restaurant is our favorite. The food is outstanding offering a variety of delicious dishes. The service is perfect with the owner seeing to that every diner has a pleasant experience in his restaurant. The environment is colorful and provides a colorful place for fun! The margaritas are the best in San Miguel. Put this establishment at the top of the list during a visit to San Miguel de Allende. If you live in San Miguel de Allende plan to visit many times!!!!

Yes, they are a bit out of centro, but we went (on) and back or they can get a taxi. this is homestyle Mexican food in its finest with fantastically prepared tacos and enchilada fillings and the best guacamole they will find.

We were referred to this restaurant by a newer room. it can be a bit outside the beaten path and it can have shorter hours than some, but if there ever been a reason to search a restaurant that is it. I will. come to eat in a second, but first we talk about the personal. every person in the restaurant from don felix to victoria (her no, I guess) welcomed us on such a warm and friendly way. rodrigo was exceptional in service and recommended. by far the best we have received, and we had a lot of good service. on eating, as they see, eating is very colorful and plentiful. what the photo does not show is taste and that is where it really excellent. the chef and her personal are brilliant. many thanks for their attention to their art. I recommend reservations, because this will be missing a real disappointment. gracias

Loved the charming atmosphere, food and service. Delicious and large margaritas. I enjoyed vegetarian enchiladas and my other family members ate a house chicken specialty dish. Expect to be greeted by the cook and owner as though you are long lost friends. I do not understand the negative reviews. Perhaps because it is an understated deliciousness to the food and eclectic decor? Have been here twice on visits to SMA and I highly recommend.

This is my second try for this restaurant, only because it's so convenient to my home, no more ! The restaurant is not clean, the service is lack luster and the food is just horrible. There are to many awesome taco stands in thus neighborhood to waste your pesos here!
