Osteria La Taverna - San Marino

Eating is one of the largest we have experienced in the 10-day holiday in italy. they can ask for an English menu if they cannot read the local on the table. my wife and I ordered the two main course for the delicious kitchen. we tried pork steak, lamb, rabbit and bark. they are delicate, juicy, tasty and good looking. I gave me a whole bottle of wine. yes, this is a Michelin star restaurant, deserves my 5-star ranking and my recommended.

The service was exceptional, typical Italian hospitality. Yummy food . Very generous servings. We really enjoyed dining here.

Came for drinks only. Spectacular spot with gorgeous views however let down by a very grumpy waiter who huffed and pufffed every time we ordered something. Considering San Marino is deserted (corona? you’d think he’d appreciate the business.

Overall a really disappointing experience. We were excited to try this Michelin star restaurant but it was not great. Our waiter was extremely rude and also rushed us even though there were other people taking their time. I speak Italian and was being very polite, so I don’t know why he was not nice. The antipasto was polenta with shrimp and it was very bland. We didn’t finish it. The pasta was better but definitely too hot and over cooked. The fish at the end was pretty good. At the least the prices were decent but we had better food at more casual places in San Marino.

One star goes for terrible service. I am a tolerant person and I understand we all have bad days but to disregard the clients like this, not even here you go or please , waiter basically threw utensils on our table. What 's more, we got russian menius without being asked about it even though we do not speak the language. Beautiful location, okay food, but everything is cancelled by horrible waiting.
