Brampton Mill Huntingdon - San Marino

What a beautiful location to have our mini strategy meeting. the scene is surrounding and cool.

The food was superb, easily should be Michelin recommended on its own that was five star. The service was hit and miss, we were told there was no tables so we'd have to eat in the bar, as we passed the waitress we asked again and were shown to a table by the river. Unfortunately she went off duty so we had to ask for the dessert menu, the coffee was tepid , an agreed swop of ice cream for sorbet was charged and we had to ask Twice for the bill. We'd go back for the quality of the food, the service let it down.

Servers were lovely, very accommodating and helpful. When we mentioned that the food was not up to standard, a main was refunded and a complimentary dessert was offered. However, although we were compensated, it did spoil what was a double birthday celebration. We were not the only customers who commentated on how dry the meat and potatoes were.

Good food drinks, waitresses nice, however there was 1 barman who was really rude in general particularly when politely asked if drinks were ready after waiting a while to which he replied NO Dreaded going to the bar for drinks to be served by him, bar area had negative energy, would recommend owners/managers look into more training for basic customer service

This restaurant is a great spot for a casual lunch or dinner. There are plenty of parking spaces in the back. It's recommended to book a table in advance!
