Sit down and relax with some good sushi.Host Sara welcomed me with a warm smile and took my order as I already knew what I wanted.Amazing garlic edamame and shrimp tempura hit the spot.The place was clean and food came faster than expected and HOT!!!Very reasonably priced.BONUS: They honor military discount!I will support especially because of this.Great place to visit.I highly recommend.
We ordered 4 rolls. Nearly 40mins after ordering, the first roll came out. Only 1. About 10mins later the next one came out. We are still waiting on the other 2. There are almost as many staff members as there are guests in the restaurant, including at least 3 sushi chefs. The salmon roe was not fresh and needed to be sent back. Not sure what the deal is. The bathroom is absolutely disgusting. We will not be back
The hostess that has Harley Quinn hair was rude but the bartender and the other hostess with the wavy hair was very helpful and polite and helped us pick out rolls and got us seated and and fed. We had a great time and they had amazing rolls. The only one I didn't like was the dynamite roll it had a weird taste but everything else was great, the stuffed jalapenos, the sexy roll and the other 6 rolls we ordered were amazing. We had hot saki and Japanese beer. The people who were there and were obviously local regulars were chill and funny and had nothing but good vibes and recommendations hence the 6 rolls. Good time.
I love everything about this place. Seriously one of the best sushi places in North County SD. You seriously can taste the freshness of the sushi. Customer service is great but the food does take long so we usually order once we order our drinks. That's how much we love coming here and already know the menu!Food: 5/5
The service here somehow seems to keep getting worse every time I come. We used to frequent this place twice a month but the last three times in a row have all been below par. From the bartender who has better than to make drinks (god forbid you ask him to fix the drink he makes) to the servers who allow the food to die in the window after the chefs make it. I give a three because the food is fresh and if you end up sitting at the sushi bar it's better service.
