Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen - San Marcos

I had the T-Bone. It was supposed to be medium rare. I'm not sure how they managed to get part of it medium rare and another part medium and still another part closer to medium well but they did. Also, the flavor was not very good. I have had steaks at other Cheddars restaurants that were perfect but this time the food was not as good.The service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean.

Take out to go order for the first time on Sunday. I ordered the Monte Cristo and don't often say this about food but I am in love! I don't eat fried food very often but the description of this sounded so good on the website I went for it. The description didn't even do it justice! I also was only able to eat one half of it so I had the other half to heat up for lunch today as well. It was just as good next day. I still won't eat fried food often but when I do I am going to get this. It was out of this world.I was able to change the side from the default fries to coleslaw. Their coleslaw was delicious too.

My boyfriend and I went to go eat there earlier today. The service good of been a little bit better. Our waitress Emily good of done a better job waiting on us. She never came and asked if we wanted refills on our drinks. We waited a good while until she came and asked us what we wanted to drink. We must of waited about 10 minutes or so until she came. Some other people showed up and she was there waiting on them real quick. They were not even there 5 minutes when she asked them what they would like to drink. But anyways the food is always been good. The first time I have eaten at a Cheddar's has been in the Dallas area. The food has always been delicious and great tasting. But for some reason here in my hometown it doesn't seem that good. We had ordered the chips and queso. It wasn't that good. The queso could of been better.

Great place for family meals. Big portion and good price. My teens love there. Fresh and delicious food.

The ribs were so good...had the slaw and rice. Both were great.
