Pete's Camp - San Luis Potosí

The restaurant is primarily outdoor, but offers indoor air-conditioned restaurants. petes camp is our way to eat. the thinnest margaritas are fabulous. we loved every dish on the menu. it is consistently good eating. when they are busy, they can be a little long. but it is worth it.

Great place to camp on the beach, good Wi-Fi in restaurant and bar area and great eating. very safe, patched by the police.

We were happy to sit outside in the warm air close to the ocean in Mexico. The restaurant is far enough away from the ATV noise that you can enjoy a meal. If you go here, please note to the managers that their campground client 's...ATVs driving up and down the beach are against Mexican law and are ruining fragile eco-systems, destroying nesting sites for certain rare birds and turtles, not to mention ruining a peaceful beach camping experience. Mexico is desperate for money and will not say no to us North Americans. It is up to us to do the right thing, respect Mexican law, and protect the environment.

We arrived at night (approx 8:30pm) so we had no idea what we would wake up to in the morning. The view of the sunrise on the water was amazing, completed deserted! I absolutely loved this spot! I will definitely be giving them my business...again if I find myself in San Felipe.

We have a home in San Felipe and it has become a tradition to stop at Pete's for a large dinner and a few yummy Margarita Especials You will most likely find Juan behind the bar mixing up some great drinks, that are very generous...in size and has plenty of booze. As a benefit there is a wonderful view of the Sea of Cortez, and if you have an RV or Tent you can camp on the beach. Enjoy
