Bidrage med feedbackI went to college in SLO and had fond memories of atmosphere and food at this restaurant. Sad to say everything we had was bad, as if it was made with ingredients from a dorm room. Best chances for this old time favorite is new ownership I'm afraid. Don't waste your, money, time, or calories here :
I wouldn?t consider this place a true tiki bar. It?s like an Applebees of tiki bars more for looks than actually presenting true tiki cocktails. I think i saw about 5 different types of runs, including Malibu, Bacardi, and Sailor Jerry?s. Service here was fast and friendly, and the outdoor patio space was beautiful.
Good bar type food. Great outdoor seating to enjoy a nice day. The atmosphere is low key and bar-restaurant like. You can catch a game inside, plenty of drinks to be had. Food is good with sizable portions. Our Daughters usually split a kids plate, they are 4 7 and they still usually have some for me to clean up. Nachos were really good!! Last time there (of several), we had 4 adults and 4 kids and all left full and satisfied. The crew has always been nice to us, you order at the bar and they bring it to you, they don 't necessarily follow up but will help when asked, so it 's not a full service type of setup if you 're looking for that.
The jalapeño burger was tasty and the portions were perfect for a large hungry male such as myself. You have a really great patio as well. I don't like being rushed to sign my check. If you left it on the table until I finished I would have been able to sign my check and give you a tip :
Selected here to dine on the patio on a pretty day. Our chicken salads had the sorriest looking lettuce we have ever been served. The chicken was actually quite flavorful. Overall, seating and tables quite in need of cleaning. True this place is mostly a bar, but if you?re going to charge the same as everyone else in town, you really need to up your game Creeky Tiki.
