El Portal - San Leandro

Great food. Awesome people. Came here after doing laundry. Chips and salsa are great. Waitress are awesome. Super great service. Best Mexican food I had In a while. I had huevos rancheros and grilled chicken super burrito. Great atmosphere. Waitress was beautiful kind and sweet. Cook was amazing food was ready in like no time at all.

Took a while to get a takeout but the staff seems helpful. The one who served me didn't understand me, so I was left wondering if I got the right thing. It's was just two burritos but as it was busy had to wait. Just trying it out as it very close to where we live. The burritos are big and a lot of food. The food, was okay but prefer the shop up the road, it was tastier. I saw the prices on menu, but got just $6 and a few coins back out of $40. Everything here is so expensive, so not that impressed.

Verde burrito? with rice and beans on the side, 3 articles. The waiting period was a bit long, which is somewhat unusual, but the food was very good.

I went to this restaurant as a last minute trip, I had never been to this establishment before. I have heard good things about this restaurant and I wanted to try it out. I always like to sit down and eat and not get it to go but I had places to go. My lady friend had the carne asada chimichanga, my bro had the carne asada burrito and I had the pastor burrito. I loved my burrito and my friends liked their food also. Since I was getting it to go I was not able to use the restrooms but I will next time. They have a nice patio area and a full bar. The employees were courteous and quick to help.

Best Lengua Tacos so far. The meat has a wonderful flavor, and it's really tender.. the tacos are really big The tortillas are larger than regular size just to get an idea. I'd most definitely come back to eat at this restaurant ??
