Il Galeone - SAN LAZZARO DI SAVENA

We visited this restaurant twice as a family in July 2022. We first visited this restaurant on a Tuesday night, as the options for restaurants open on a Tuesday were limited. However we were certainly happy with our choice. On our first visit we all had fish dishes. I had the polpo as a starter and the shrimp gnochetti for a main. The food was delicious and the fish was certainly fresh and tasty. When we were there it was noticeable how good the pizzas looked and we saw that they had a wood fired pizza oven, so we visited again to try the pizzas and these were also delicious. It’s the first restaurant I have been too that specialises in both pizza and seafood but it works for them. I felt compelled to review as I think this place deserves a higher rating! Highly recommend.

Great food, great service and nice interior! We really enjoyed our meal. Ideal for hotel guest in the area. It is important to make reservation because they often have a full house.

The atmosphere and warm welcome of Leo and Tina complete a culinary experience that goes beyond expectations. Galeone confirms itself not only as a destination for fish lovers, but also for those looking for an excellent pizza in a welcoming and authentic context. I always return well.

We returned after a while and luckily, pizza confirms the best of the city. It was Saturday night but the service was perfect and friendly staff. If you want to eat the real Neapolitan pizza this place is a guarantee. Prices more than fair
