Bidrage med feedbackWe stopped here twice, first in the middle of the day during the walk and simply tried the pisco sour. the drink was brilliant, 2 main reasons I this as the best pisco mad in peru. first the taste, it was good. Secondly, it was a full glass and you could say it was full of alcohol. I had so many in miraflores, cusco, ollantaytambo and aguas calientes. that was the best and none of the small glasses, tapered glasses for the full price. when we came back to dinner at night, it was great to eat. I would come here every day and 100% have a pisco acidic here. best in peru for me.
This is a small little Pisco place in miraflores, but they had a really good choice of pisco and had tried to find out what we liked most. we just stopped at this place on a laune as we passed and I'm so glad we did. the bartender was super friendly and also explained some of the history and distillation procedures for pisco. I recommend to stop here for a few drinks and learn more about pisco!
During the trip to Peru we had our share of Pisco-based drinks. ricardo helped us and took us to the various drinks, why he gave him a certain kind and why the art of pisco counts! well done ricardo!
Our experience with Ricardo at PiscoBar was nothing short of amazing. Three friends and I wanted to try Pisco the right way before diving into the famous Pisco Sours without knowing what it should taste like. We did a full Pisco tasting with food pairings...and were not disappointed in the slightest. Ricardo gave us nearly undivided attention for over 2 hours, explaining each of the 6 (which turned into 9...or 10, it got a little hazy different types of Pisco we were tasting, as well as making samples of different mixed drinks traditionally made with Pisco. The food pairings included a mango ceviche, a banana and pork fritter, a quinoa and walnut salad, and a deep fried ceviche wonton (so delicious! . The experience was one of my favorite of our entire trip to Peru! Highly recommended if you want a taste of authenticity.
We found this local bar as it was close to the Inca Market and a few blocks from our hotel. While we did not order food, we did try Pisco Sours and had several types to test. We came early in the evening for a...quick drink and it was quiet, cozy and perfect for visiting and drink tasting.
