L'impasto - San Juan De Miraflores

The place was cheap, and the food was fine, nothing amazing or groundbreaking. We ordered the spinach and ricotta ravioli, which seemed mostly filled with spinach, as well as the pasta arrabbiata, which was definitely better than the ravioli. What really... was hard about the place was the service; the waiter hardly said a word to us and the table was a little dirty. I probably won't return.

The title is an interpretation of the Spanish Bueno, Bonito y Barato! It is a very pleasant place in Miraflores, a bit out of the main drag of rstaurants and cafes. I visited two days a go with 10 more friends, so it was a...large table. It was rather empty when we arrived but if filled up a while later. In spite of the large table service was rather prompt, the cook who is a rather young woman came to our table to excuse herself for not being able to offer vanilla ice cream made in the premises because her ice cream machine had broken down. The replacement chocolate ice cream was delicious, though. It's Italian food at its best, the vegetarian pizza was delicious as was the spaghetti puttanesca that I had. My fellow guests were all pleased with what they had to eat. A rather European atmosphere, cozy and small.

The food is excellent, including desserts. The place is really cozy, good for small groups or couples. Small space for parking though. No problem if you walk there or arrive by taxi.

Wonderfull petit Italian bistreau in Lima. walking by the street near home with my girlfriend an my son, we found these surprising italian restaurant. The osobuco with papardelle, excellent, the peruvian pumpkin gnoquis, with salvia sauce gratinated surprising, and the ricotta spinach and brain ravioli...for my son impeccable. Nice list of italian wines and excellent espresso.
