Bidrage med feedbackThis is my family’s favorite restaurant. Their menudo con pata, and chile verde have a rich and delicious flavor. The servings are generous and satisfying. I think they taste, just as good as my mom’s.
I've frequented El Maguey many times over the past ten years, initially drawn in by positive experiences. However, recent visits have consistently fallen short. On multiple occasions, there have been significant issues: I was charged multiple times for a single to-go order, received the wrong type of tortillas, and most recently, despite not receiving an extra egg I requested, I was still charged for it. These recurring problems show a concerning lack of attention to customer orders and billing accuracy. Unfortunately, my patience has worn thin, and I find it hard to justify returning or recommending El Maguey based on these disappointing experiences.
First visit to this restaurant, nice patio seating.I had the #6 shredded beef taco and cheese enchilada.Good flavors all the way around, my only complaint is that the table chips were too tough and slightly hard to eat.But a nice surprise at hearing the Mission bells ring, as the Mission is very close.Good service, location has very limited parking.Recommended.
We loved that there was a menu for dogs and we were able to eat very comfortably in the covered exterior. The dishes are quite well served. The waitress was very friendly. It's a good place to eat. Parking: It is a small square with free parking.
Wow! So amazed at the service and amazing authentic tasting food. You have to try this place if you are visiting this area. Food here is so so good, very impressed. The maragaritas are so good too! Many options for everyone! Thank you El Maguey restaurant, I will definitely always recommend this place and come back again. If you get a chance to meet the owners Irene and Enrique they’ll make you feel at home.
