Bidrage med feedbackThe DQ San Jose is always hopping. While the shelves in the fridge look bare, ask and you shall receive. They had some tasty treats. I enjoyed a Dilly bar with an Oreo in the center. Yum! Another evening we have chocolate dipped cones. My friends swear the chocolate tastes better than in the states .
We have lived here for 26 years. When the DQ closed at the MEGA grocery store plaza and moved to downtown, my husband was thrilled. We walk downtown 3-4 days a week and our very first stop is DQ...LOL. He loves his cones, but I LOVE the Moolates and sundaes. He started eating DQ when he had gall bladder issues and the surgeon told him to eat DQ because it looks and tastes like ice cream, but it is ice milk and MUCH healthier for him and it would not give him gall bladder attacks. Who knew ?! It is a popular place, but especially onThursday nights so be prepared for a little wait. DELICIOUS !!!
Just a couple of blocks ocean side from the plaza Mijares you will find the familiar Dairy Queen. In this area where just a spot to sit down is hard to find you can sit at one of the outdoor tables and watch the sights go by. Same taste as home, beware it melts quickly in the heat. Just the oldtime ice cream spit , no burgers etc. As in all fast food: quick, cheap, and you know what you are getting.
That's because it's like everything else! everything in sjc is expensive. I understand that many things are imported into the opposite, but it is absurd how everything is at least 25% more expensive. here the DQ prices are exactly the same. as they are in Mexico City, and it speaks only about a week managed business, so I give it 5
As they call in mexico eiscremes, are not the equivalent to that in the milk queen they get the best chocolate blends and vanilla, simply a joy
