Casa Don Rodrigo - San José del Cabo

Simplemente me encanto, la ambientación, atención súper amables en especial Pepe y sus ayudantes, el atún sellado y las tostadas de atún fueron nuestras favoritas... seguro regresaremos a probar más!!!

The atmosphere, food, and staff at Don Sanchez were incredible. Our dinner there was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. We were seated outside on a romantic patio surrounded by art, colorful lights, and live music. It was magical. And the staff was incredibly attentive and attuned to our every need. We started with the lobster taco, oysters, and rustic tomatoes. All were to die for! And for our entrees we had the chile relleno Wellington and the shrimp ajillo. The Wellington was hearty and spicy, and the shrimp was light and flavorful. It was a little pricy, but worth every dollar!! I would highly recommend Don Sanchez!

Wow.... This place was awesome! Compared to most of the restaurants in cabo and especially the San Jose area, this restuarant is easily the best in class. We had incredibly professional service, the amuse bouche was unique and interesting. All the food was plated and presented beautifully and the taste was familiar but unique and exciting. They had an incredible atmosphere, and honestly from the front entrance it doesn't look like much. However, after they lead you downstairs to the main dining room it completely opens up! If you're tired of eating the usual taco fare (which I was not, just curious) then definitely come visit. It is a little spendy by Mexico pricing but compared to what you might pay in Seattle or other metro areas it was still very cheap!

Our favourite restaurant in San Jose. Excellent cheese tray appetizers, best steak in town and an excellent wine list. We have had excellent birthday parties here every year and the service is spectacular. Seafood is great too as are all items on the menu.

Excellent food, service and ambiance. Restaurant is in an old family home. Farm fresh cheese and veggies are so memorable. Great wine selection in a wine cellar immediately adjacent to the table. Pepe the server was particularly hospitable.
