This Chinese Restaurant is as close as it gets to a taste of home for me having grown up in HK and Toronto this may not be top notch Chinese food compared to back home but definitely authentic and real Chinese food! THE FOOD BBQ Duck Noodles in Soup Lai Fun I love Chinese BBQ and especially BBQ Duck with lai fun noodles. There are a few options of noodles and if you want to know which one I am talking about it is the last two characters on the description line of this menu item. It also comes with Mai Fun , Hor Fun and some other ones I can 't remember. The dish comes with Chinese Vegetables similar to Chinese Broccoli but a thinner version of it and I don 't know the name in English or Spanish . So all the items in this dish is completely authentic made for one person or ... you could share ... The BBQ duck could be roasted a bit more crispy for the skin layer but I am not complaining! The duck is not super gamey in flavor, and is deliciously sweet just like it should be. Chinese Vegetables in Garlic Sauce Having been here for some time in Costa Rica without access to these vegetables, the simplicity of this dish of greens in garlic sauce is a flavor that reminds me of home definitely cooked right if i had to comment, i would prefer a tad less oil but really it 's not oily, i just generally don 't use oil to cook anything so for the average person it 's perfect! Szechuan Pork This dish is actually very spicy but you can ask them to make it slightly more mild coming from a person who can 't eat spicy at all this dish was delicious! The pork they use is a fatty pork which is what makes it delicious! So if you 're going for health freak like me on a non cheat day then maybe you should avoid this dish it 's so fatty it 's dangerously delicious! Order it with a bowl of rice on the side to compliment its strong flavor and to clear your palette after each bite! DIM SUM I haven 't had a chance to sit down for a full on dim sum experience but I did take home the Custard Bun to try the next day and it was tasty! Definitely has the flavor or chinese buns and dim sum. Now, don 't expect Hong Kong standards for dim sum here, but if you are craving for some real dim sum this is a place to give it a shot. WAITERS I am not sure why there are complaints about the waiting service at this restaurant. Each time I have come here, we were immediately seated, and waited on very quickly. They were also very attentive even when they had an event one night that we went and we didn 't have to wait for service. PRICE For a Chinese restaurant, the price is a bit high but since I don 't have access to this restaurant frequently I still come here just to eat the food once in awhile despite the higher prices than I am used to for Chinese food the food is definitely worth it. THE MENU I have to note that the menu is REALLY extensive and can be quite daunting. if you are unsure of what to order I would suggest calling over the reception lady or even ask for the owner to make a suggestion of what you may want to try. Other items I would try on this menu for my next visit Fried crispy calamari/squid in salt pepper should be close to the authentic dish! Stir fried mussels Steamed Dumplings Steamed Fish in soy sauce chinese style! Dim Sum lunch SUPERMARKET NEXT DOOR Don 't forget to check out their grocery store just next door. The supermarket has many Asian products for a good price as well as Chinese Vegetables!! if you want to try something authentic as well try the Tofu dessert that is in the fridge. The cashier lady will point you to the right direction if you ask for the sweet tofu dessert . I am sad to see that this restaurant has such a low rating on TripAdvisor because I really love this restaurant though it could be a little less pricey. Recommendation: Come here with a large group of friends or family this is the only way to really eat like a Chinese family order many dishes and share! otherwise you can barely get through all the menu items to see what you really like :

The Dim Sum at this restaurant is actually pretty good (considering it is in Costa Rica, you can't expect it to taste just like in China). The staff is friendly and the prices may be a little on the high side.

We accidentally ordered something, but the restaurant refused to take it back. The waitress did not properly explain the menu, which had no vegetarian options. The dim sum was average at best. The only positive aspect was the convenient parking.
