Sapporo - San Jose

The man attending was not the most customer service inclined individual out there. The sushi was ok, considering we had a promotion that was pretty cheap.

Nice and small Japanese restaurant. Some dishes are too expensive for what they are. Teriyaki chicken is great. The service is not that good, waitress need to learn basic manners!

Really terrible service. Dingy and uncleaned tables. Very long wait. Waitress on her phone the whole time. Nonstop Queen on the speakers. Fun for 2 songs but then kept repeating same songs. Avoid

Contrary to its name, Sapporo Restaurant is not a Sapporo Oasis as two Sapporo beers will run you about 7400 colones. Though that may be expected when purchasing an imported beer, the main reason I give only two starts is the quality of sushi. THE RICE a quintessential part of well made, delicious sushi was far overcooked. The rice was pressed into a roll with far too much force, as if to compensate for the small amount of sashimi within the roll. A certain temperature and humidity level must be maintained where the sushi is stored for it to maintain it's full flavor and prevent bacteria from building up. The fish used in their rolls, which is on display at the sushi bar, appears to not be properly kept.

Poor customer service for bad sushi that's not cheap!
