Cafe De Los Deseos - San Jose

We went to the fantastic Farmers' Market (Feria Verde) that is held on a school campus in Barrio Aranjuez every Saturday morning, and then we went to this nearby cafe for lunch. The food was very good.

A perfect place for a casual dinner and drinks. We had tasty and filling tacos and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff and cool, arty building. A great local place!

The food at this restaurant is not impressive. Simply combining "burrito" and "falafel" is not enough - flavor is also important. The drinks seem to be mostly ice. On a non-food related note, the bathroom door does not lock. However, the music is enjoyable.

The atmosphere was so romantic as we sat under twinkling lights. We enjoyed delicious tacos, fried plantains and sangria. A really cozy place with great food, I would recommend this place to anyone.

We ate here on our first night in San Jose, set out of the main city centre it is quite, well furnished and comfortable with some outside seating. Service was really good, beers cold and the food was great. Really enjoyed our visit!
