Starbird Chicken - San Jose

Really disappointed in the overall experience at this location; the only thing going for it was the self service ordering kiosk because you didn't have to interact with the staff. Now here's why received a text at 11:50am that my order was ready but didn't actually receive my order until 12:13 while waiting for my order (after I received the text) I witnessed a staff member use her gloved hand to lift her shirt shoulder area to wipe her nose and did not change gloves soda area was extremely dirty as if it hadn't been cleaned at all for a few days salad bowls were dirty with food from probably dirty gloves. I only point all this out because I work in the food industry and this establishment should be better. Coming out of the last few years CLEANLINESS and SANITATION needs to be in the forefront of the food and beverage industry. Just do better for your guests and your staff, y'all eat there too.

Yum yum yum, first time trying it a couple weeks ago and it did not disappoint. The sandwiches can be a bit on the dryer side, but their strips were good. Their WINGS were ON POINT . Loved their sauce choices.

Starbird is a beloved chicken spot that offers tons of options from salads, wings, tenders, tacos etc. Have been ordering from here for some years and they have not disappointed. Sauces are unique and delicious, my favorites are the Seoul spicy sauce and greek yogurt ranch. The prices are fair for the portion size and quality of food. Definitely would recommend Thai and Buffalo wings, another favorite is the Nashville hot tenders its just the right amount of spicy. For a fast food there are some pretty healthy options here and even a plant based option. Lastly, the cookies taste freshly baked and are a definite must try!

Tried this place out for lunch takeout and got their tender box which came with 3 chicken tenders, lots of fries, and starsauce/blue cheese. Portions are large so great for a big meal, but the taste was below expectations. It was far from the quality of a similar chicken/fries place I've had. Interior has a nice aesthetic design to it, with spacious seating inside. There is also some outdoor seating as well.

It was my first time trying this place out a couple weeks ago. It's so good and worth coming here. Spent around $20. I can't wait to come back here again.
