Naan Curry - San Jose

I was in the area and needed to find somewhere to have lunch. I came across this restaurant on Yelp and decided to give it a shot. Thank you Yelp for the suggestion! This place is very unassuming, nestled in a small plaza. There are many tempting options on the menu, but I ultimately chose the tikka masala as it never disappoints. The food arrived promptly and it was absolutely delicious! Initially, I thought there was too much rice and not enough sauce/meat, but everything balanced out perfectly as I ate. The meat was tender and packed with flavor. My only complaint is that the restaurant doesn't have air conditioning or fans. I would think twice about visiting on a hot day or maybe order a dish that isn't so warm.

I really enjoy the chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, and biryani at this restaurant. I prefer my curry to be creamy with not too many spices, and I like my biryani to be slightly moist. I don't like when biryani is dry and tastes like only rice and spices. This restaurant prepared the dishes just the way I like. The naan is excellent, it's chewy like a combination of naan and paratha, which I really like. The service is fast and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely be returning.

I had a great time at this restaurant! I ordered the chicken tikka masala with naan and rice. The curry was incredibly creamy and smooth, and there was plenty of chicken. The prices are fair, and the portion sizes are good. I would definitely return to this restaurant!

Been in the bay area for 23 years, and this is the best Indian food I ever had. I met the owner who was very nice and welcoming. best experience ever.

Eating is okay, not bad. the personal could be a bit more attentive. I dined in and ordered half a tandoori huh starter and huh tikka masala with butter naan and she gave the whole order at the same time as I got to naan it was solid and the curry was mild warm. the disappointing part, I had ordered a huh tikka masala, but ended with butter huh. that was after a Veg combo menu was placed on my table and all this in consideration that it only tends to 3 tabs.
