Las Islitas - San Jose

Some of the food is not plates tastes aren't authentic not like th real Nayarit flavors. Specially the Pescado Zarandeado is not even close to the real taste of Pescado Zarandeado from Nayarit, other plates are better but this is Not good at all. The owner she's not professional dealing with wrong orders she gets mad at the clients when a order is wrong like they did the mistake and people try to explain to her the matter, she acts mad and don't listen the customers opinion. She neglects attention and make the customers feel less.

Shrimp empanadas are my favorite and ceviche de pescado. I have been coming here for over 10 years for their shrimp empanadas.

I ordered two shrimp cocktails and both had no salt, I try to make it work adding salt,lemon and ketchup and still was not good. Service was ok, it was not worth the $50 I paid

Everything we ate was great, except for the piña rellena. It's probably the most expensive piña rellana I've bought from any mariscos place going at 40 dollars. It had no flavor. I'd recommend adding something to give it flavor because it is very bland. Salsa Verde was good. Service was meh. Felt an attitude from waitress. Not friendly at all. I was debating between 2 to 3 stars tbh. Mainly because it was overpriced and they overcharged me. They gave me reciept and the prices were higher than menu and didn't put exactly how much was in taxes. I don't like shady businesses. Integrity and good service is what makes a restaurant stand out. This is where you guys are lacking big time. Not sure if I'd give it a second chance.

Food was not good. Small portions. Way overpriced. Music was too loud you couldn't even concentrate. Worst islitas I have ever been
