Hobee's - San Jose

Not sure why this place is still in business. maybe from her earlier call. we ordered the Turkish sandwich on a ciabatta and cheese sandwich on ciabatta. the ciabatta was not a ciabatta, but rather like a crowded French roll. twice as much broth as meat. the black bran chili was only black bran with some spicy. my wife found a hair on the floor of the plate. never again.

We haven't returned to hobbies for many years, and we came back again, was such a pleasant experience. I had the Dotcom omelet, and my wife had the cardinal, both were made perfect. the speck in my omelette was crispy, wobble was caramelized. our server agustin was very nice, thank you

Ordered delivery and it was underwhelming. The saving grace was the coffee cake, and even the cake was a bit dry. I got a salmon Bennie and husband order a scramble. Of course delivery of breakfast is not going to be what you would expect to see at the restaurant, but honestly, I had better delivery presentation from McDonalds and Denny's than I did Hobee's. Most likely not coming back here unless it is in person and if I have a hankering for something basic.

Best breakfast/brunch in the Bay Area. Been eating at this chain for decades. During 2020/2021 we made sure to get takeout at least once a month. Don't forget to order the Hobee's iced tea. All menu items are good. They also make great salads.

3.75 stars After hiking nearby, we spent hours, clearly exaggerating, trying to find a brunch place that specifically serves pancakes. We stumbled upon Hobee 's and off we went. The BDBIT (the best darn breakfast in town) I chose this because not only does it come with hashbrowns, which I love, but it also includes their world famous blueberry coffeecake. I mean, that 's a 2 in 1 right there, I 'm sold. My dish arrives and instant sadness hits me. Excuse me sir, are these suppose to be hashbrowns? My hunger got the best of me as I skipped over the words country style . Overall, the scrambled eggs and country style potatoes weren 't bad. The coffeecake was light in flavor but also a tad dry for my liking. Maybe if I had a glass of milk with it, I would 've been able to finish it Overall, good service, unlimited coffee refills is a plus.
