I recently had the pleasure of dining at Everest Cousin Restaurant in San Jose, and I must say, it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. This hidden gem exceeded my expectations in every way possible.Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff who promptly seated us. While we waited for our table, we were pleasantly surprised to be offered complimentary masala tea. It was a delightful gesture that instantly made us feel welcome and relaxed.Moving on to the food, I ordered the korma, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The flavors were rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. The tender pieces of meat combined with the creamy sauce created a heavenly taste that left me wanting more with every bite. It was evident that the chef paid meticulous attention to detail in preparing this dish.To complement my meal, I also ordered the mango lassi, and it was simply divine. The refreshing and creamy texture of the lassi paired flawlessly with the spiciness of the korma. It was like a burst of tropical goodness in every sip, and it added an extra layer of satisfaction to my dining experience. The ambiance of Everest Cousin Restaurant was charming and inviting. The interior was tastefully decorated, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The attentive and knowledgeable staff further enhanced the dining experience, providing excellent service throughout our meal.I must commend Everest Cousin Restaurant for their dedication to customer satisfaction. The attention to detail, the friendly staff, and the incredible flavors all combined to make this an exceptional dining experience. The complementary masala tea was a lovely touch that set this restaurant apart from others. In conclusion, if you're in San Jose and looking for a truly remarkable dining experience, look no further than Everest Cousin Restaurant. Their korma is heavenly, their mango lassi is divine, and their hospitality is unmatched. I can't recommend this place enough, and I can't wait to return for another memorable meal!Disclaimer: This review is based on my personal experience and reflects my honest opinion.
The atmosphere is quite ordinary, nothing special. What's special about this place is the food and the fact it is open till 1am..!Momos are really tasty, I like veg ones better. Chai is superb as well, only thing is they take a lot of time to make it.Food: 5/5
My all time favorite Nepali restaurant in Bay Area! Must try if you are craving or want to try Nepali food. Jhol momos are too good! The jhol is the spicy, tangy hot sauce that tastes really good.Tandoori momos, veg noodles are good too! They usually put less veggies in noodles but we’re kind enough to add more veggies we requested. Also tried Paneer Kadhai, bhindi masala and Nepali chicken curry, everything was great. laccha parathas are perfect lot of layers, soft and crisp. They also have complimentary tea :)The best part owner is super friendly, and welcoming, and they are open till 1am!! Perfect for late dinners or just mid night craving. We absorb love the service. Definitely recommend going.Vegetarian options: Lot of vegetarian options to choose from!
This was my second time at this restaurant. They have really good momos, but they should not even try with other Indian curries. I got shahi paneer and it tasted really bad. Panner half cooked, gravy half cooked and seems a lot of food colorFood: 1/5
