Bidrage med feedbackA unique theme concept by itself pour spouts for beer, delicious food and warm service! The food definitely makes justice to Indian taste buds. We started with a round of beer and Moscow mussels. We started eating with Piri-piri-Fries, nachos and chicken wings. After a few more rounds of beer, for the main course we had Chicken Tikka Pizza and Panner Tikka Tacos with Naan.
Great wings and pizza and liked the self serve beer tap system. In pictures: 1. Island blast pizza (5/5) 2. Cowboy pizza (5/5) 3. Chicken wings (5/5) 4. Pizza 5. Bottomless mimosa (5/5) 6. Chicken waffle sliders (5/5) 7. Tikka masala shaksouka (3/5 tasked like ketchup, no flavor)
Some friends and I were in town for work so we stopped by for dinner. We ordered the nachos for our appetizer and I was a fan of the fresh jalapeños. We ordered and enjoyed a three meat pizza for our entrée and was the perfect size. I was also impressed with the beer wall and their selections. Good place to hang out with friends after a long day.
Blast Brew is a nice pizza place in a nice area on First St, its the first time I visit a place where I’m my own bartender, you just get a card that you slide at the tap you want to try and get charged for the volume, this is cool but as someone who is not very good at pouring beer, a 16oz glass can turn out to be $12-14 if you don’t do it correctly. Food was very tasty, tried a custom pizza with pepperoni and olive but it was kinda small for $20+ as you see in the photo. Its a nice place with nice ambiance, just be aware of these little things I mentioned. Worth trying out at least once
Expensive, but fun place to go after work. They have a full bar, but the point of going here is to try different craft beers they have on 'self-service ' taps along the walls. You pick a large or small glass and pay for what you pour, by using 'pour cards ' provided to you, if you want to use this system. They also have a large selection of food to choose from, and it is all pretty tasty. The problem I have with this place is the price. Maybe it is because of the pandemic, but 2 fish tacos cost $14 is a bit high (appetizer plate, not dinner plate). Also the other appetizers and food selections are pretty high price. To top it off, our group was charged a 20% 'service fee ', even though we all had 'self-service ' beer. Of course, most of the $240 bill was the beer, and being charged 20% service on self-service does not go over well with me. However, during this time, I agree to tip high, to support all these local businesses. I do like this place, but be prepared for the shock to your wallet. Hence only 4 stars. Not sure I will bring my large groups back here in the future.
