Bidrage med feedbackThe best banh cuon with pork and mushroom filling in the San Jose area.
I ordered banh hoi with grilled beef in betel leaf and BBQ chicken rice. Both dishes were delicious.
Attentive server, and decent food. Accommodating to my kids (brought us extra bowls and scissors). Place is kept tidy clean.
As far as authenticity goes, the Banh Cuon Dac Biet hits the spot! It really reminded me of being in Vietnam and having some on the street! The service was QUICK and the banh cuon was fresh with amazing sides to accompany it! The fried shrimp and potato cake was crisp and light! Highly recommend
Came here while visiting my parents. The grand-kids wanted to try out Bang Cuon and came here for the first time out of a suggestion from my mother. My wife and I had #11. The Bang Cuon combo. My wife and kids love all things noodles and noodley. It came with variety. The noodles were very tasty. Nice firmness and flavors. The cha lua was too dense and lacking in much flavor and was the disappointing factory of the dish. The yam fritter was delicious. Perfectly fried, crispiness on out side while sweet yam softness inside. The mungbean fritter was a bit doughy. Saved by its flavor. Kids and wife liked all items in this dish minus the cha lua.My Father had Banh Canh. He didn't enjoy it. Said the soup was off. My mother and I gave it a taste test. Definitely off. Could be simply a difference in culture/region. What we are used to versus where this version of Banh Canh originates from. I wouldn't say it wasn't good. Just different and not my preference of style. My mother had Banh Uot to try. She enjoyed her dish very much.
