Valley Inn Of San Geronimo

This eclectic restaurant's quaint relaxing location and delicious food never let's me down. The scallops seared just right with a light champagne sauce is beautifully done.

My boyfriend and I had a very nice stay here this past Saturday. Yes, it's not super fancy and as others have mentioned there's no TV, but it is quiet, clean, and charming. Lovely garden in the back as well. They also have the Two Bird Cafe in the same location. Very reasonable price for a nice spot in the Point Reyes area.

My fiancee and I i arrived at night and quickly realized it reminded us of the bates motel from the outside and we were weirded out.. We got the key and walked inside to notice the bedroom was updated and looked newly renovated. My fiancee put her suitcase down and saw an empty potato chip bag under the bed which we threw away quickly. As my fiancee went to go to use the shower I looked around and noticed a ton of cobwebs. She got done and I said I need to take care of something. Needless to say, I walked tony (we named him the tarantula out the room. After that I killed two daddy long legs and 10 small spiders.(no exaggeration I kept count! Anyways after 2 hours we went to bed, checked out in the am, and told the innkeeper what happened and she thought nothing of it. She said we have spiders around here, oh yea . No discount, no apology, nothing. On top of that no hairdryer, no tv, no wifi, no ac, and a portable heater. $137 a night, for no amenities and a bunch of bugs. Sorry to leave this review, but I had to let other people and the establishment know. The extra star was because the bed looked clean. however, which i never mentioned to my fiancee, there was all crud, food, and debris under the bed. Again, I had no choice but to leave this review!!!!!!!

The price is half of the b&b closer to Point Reyes and we got the queen bed in the suite (rm# 6). It 's a modest size room and very cozy for a couple. The bathroom is small and the shower was very small, but how long do you stay in the shower any way so it served it purpose. The bed was comfortable to sleep on and our bedroom was a comfortable size. The guy who checked us in was very accommodating and allowed us to check out two rooms before we decided on one. I would highly recommend this place if you can get the queen size suite.
