Villon - San Francisco

Beautiful resto!! Food is great! Service is outstanding. Amazing hospitality from everyone. Teresa is the best.

The food was excellent and the service was wonderful. We will definitely be dining there again.

Very disappointed in this venue. Had been so excited to try the cuisine, only to find the food was salty and overwhelming flavor combos that just didn't excite the palate in the least. Given how expensive this restaurant is, I really expected quite a bit more from the restaurant. While my salad was excellent, it was downhill from there. And to call that dessert a chocolate mousse is a travesty.

We started with drinks at Chamaine's on the rooftop, and ended up with having dinner at Villion... an absolutely delightful experience overall. The drinks at Charmaines at the rooftop bar set the mood for a wonderful evening, and afterwards we went down to Villion for dinner. The food was absolutely delicious... with very generous portions. The ambience and service were also great. We're SF locals... and after an evening out at both Charmaine's and Villion... it felt as though we had gone away for the weekend... perhaps that was accentuated by being in the very cool surroundings at the Proper Hotel. I highly recommend both establishments (Charmaine's and Villion) at the Proper Hotel!
