Umai Ramen House - San Francisco

If Umai Ramen House were located in a different place or city, I believe it would easily be a five-star restaurant. Unfortunately, it is in competition with other exceptional ramen places in Japantown. Despite this, it is usually easier to get a table at Umai compared to some of the other popular spots. The ramen is good but not outstanding, and the side of fried rice is a great value and delicious.

Excellent ramen. Our favorite was the black garlic tonkotsu ramen. The takoyaki starter was delicious as well.
