Bidrage med feedbackI love Souley Vegan in Oakland, but this location is a huge disappointment. I think the owner would be embarrassed to see the quality of food and service that comes out of here. The First time I ordered was when they first opened; it took 4 hours to receive my order and items were missing... their excuse was this location is new , ok sure... Today, (months and months later) I decided to order again. I ordered a burger and the creole popems. It took 2 hours to get delivered and I did not even receive the creole pop 'ems. And the delivery was not my dashers fault bc they were waiting at the restaurant for an hour. So it took forever and I did not receive half of my order. Souley 's usually well seasoned fries were bland and the corn bread I received was hard and gross, like it was days old. Maybe they have to reevaluate their staff here because I haven 't had any issues with the Oakland location, the experience is night and day. I won 't be ordering from this location again, and you probably shouldn 't either. If you want a good experience with good food, go check out the Oakland location. If you get food from the SF location, you will hate it on many levels.
Ordered the Pray 4 Me and omg, I lost my gd mind eating it. I can't believe how delicious it was. I don't generally enjoy vegan food that tries to mock the taste of meat but heard great things about this place. The burger was stacked with flavor and taste and it's been like 4 days later and I still catch my mind wandering off to day dream about the Pray 4 Me. Did not overdo the fake meat taste. Put this burger on your bucket list please. You will never be the same again.
This restaurant serves some of the best jambalaya I've ever had, and as someone with roots in New Orleans, I can say it's truly authentic! The food holds up well for delivery and the flavors are consistently delicious. I absolutely adore this place!
The second location of this restaurant is still great! I always order the same dishes. I'm grateful that it's now closer to where I live.
We ordered a combination plate with collards, cornbread and creole mac, and the seitan buffalo chicken fingers. Everything was good except the creole mac was disappointing it smelled weird and didn't taste good or anything vaguely Creole. Not sure what it was made with. I've had vegan mac and cheese before and I know it can be much better!
