Roam Artisan Burgers - San Francisco

This fantastic burger joint is perfect for both traditional and adventurous burger enthusiasts. I tried the Create Your Own burger with a bison patty and sweet potato fries, accompanied by a house-made prickly pear soda. It was excellent. Just like in America, the portion sizes here are generous enough to feed two average individuals.

We ordered the beyond chicken burger and the veggie patty burger at this restaurant. The beyond chicken burger was delicious, but we were disappointed with the veggie patty burger as it fell apart easily, lacked in flavor, and had an overwhelming taste of jalapenos.

I ordered the Heritage Burger cooked medium-rare, it came with Applewood smoked bacon, fontina cheese, caramelized onions, tomato, lettuce, and herbed mayo. There was too much mayo on the burger for my liking, I should have asked for it on the side. The regular French fries were not worth the $4 price, the portion should have been bigger. The Iced Tea was excellent. The burger was good, but not outstanding. The French fries were a mix of hot and cold, indicating that the kitchen staff are mixing fresh fries with ones that have been sitting around. The service could have been better, as I had to remind the server about my iced tea order. Despite the great reviews, my personal experience left me unimpressed with Roam. I would give it a moderate recommendation.

Sweet potato fries were delicious! I had a veggie patty as a French fries burger it was good but it had this interesting taste to it that I could not pinpoint. I would come back for the fries. Sorry for that horrible burger pic..i bit into it lol

Really good burgers. I liked the burgers there the most while staying in San Francisco. They have a nice menu with different types of burgers plus some seasonal offers like mine with mozzarella, aragula and chimichurri.
