Puerto Alegre - San Francisco

I’ve been going here for the last 19 years and it is consistently delicious! Margaritas are fantastic, the service always friendly and the food is consistently everything I want it to be. So darn good!

One of the best Mexican foods I've had in the city. The burrito and quesadillas tasted fresh, well mixed, balanced ingredients. The interior is also nice and we were lucky that a mariachi band stopped by while we were eating. The service was fast and welcoming.

Regular visitors to SF and Valencia St for many years , but this was the first time at Puerto Alegre. Both our meals were delicious, fast service and great staff.

Excellent Mexican cuisine. very tasteful and meets the place.

My favorite Mexican restaurant. I love it so much I make the drive down from Santa Rosa now that I no longer live in SF. The shrimp fajitas are my favorite; the Steak Milanese Especial is also very good.
