La Traviata - San Francisco

Was honestly just fine. The environment was nice for a date, and the staff were polite and fairly hands off. However, the food just didn't really do much for me. I feel that there are other italian restaurants that may give more. The tiramisu was far from my favorite, and the gnocchi was fair. Nothing really wrong with this restaurant, and I think it's a fair option still. Just not necessarily my favorite.

Delicious food. Friendly service. The place feels like it is from a different era. A very traditional ambience, which sets it apart from the hyper modern restaurants I'm used to in San Francisco.

Foods are delicious. Service is excellent. Ambiance is intimate for my birthday party. I'm happy and my guests are satisfied with the foods and drinks. It could had been better if I knew I could have had asked for an open kitchen on my celebration. Overall, Very satisfied. Kudos to the La Traviata team. Thank you. Lea C.

So disappointed by my meal and by other meals I tasted it's really NOT italian in that the kitchen does not seem to know how to make a sauce. They somehow think drowning overcooked and under seasoned Salmon or Chicken in a briny olive tapenade is enough well it isn't. In the pasta dept the mushroom ravioli was dry again total miss in the sauce. Even the salad dressing was lackluster not mixed seemed like a bottle dressing drizzled over the top. Total waste of . The only reason it has 2 stars is the room itself is beautiful.
