Gusto Pinsa Romana - San Francisco

I tried the traditional Roman-style pizza at this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. The crust was delicious and the Diavola pizza really packed a spicy punch.

I had been craving pizza for days and stumbled upon this restaurant. The vegan diavola pizza was exactly what I was looking for. I had never tried pinsa before, but it felt like a gourmet pizza. The dough was light and crispy, and the addition of crushed red pepper was just right. My only wish is that they offered a vegan meat option to add to the pizza for an even better experience. The rest is either omnivore or vegetarian. However, I could eat their vegan Margherita and vegan Diavola with vegan cream all day. Seating is limited, but don't worry if there's a line out the door: some people are just waiting for takeout. You can also order ahead for pickup at the window. Not ideal for large groups: the three largest tables comfortably seat four people, while the rest are two-tops.
