Darwin Cafe - San Francisco

Really good sandwiches for lunch in a lively side cafe, come there shortly before 12 o'clock to beat the rush.

This place?s interior is cool. However, I wasn?t comfy there. A counter table doesn?t have a good balance with a chair. A table is the same. Regarding foods, I chose pistachio cream cheese sandwiches. It was good, but I didn?t like their salad. But I guess it depends on people?s taste.

Another awesome lunch spot. Their menu changes frequently, so highly recommend to try something different every single time. Salads all are tasty and healthy. Main disadvantage: they do not take online or phone orders during rush hours (12-1:30). Highly recommend to visit if you are in SOMA area.

Fantastic coffee with great poached eggs and salmon lox. Nice little hidden brunch spot in the middle of the city

I used to come here exclusively for the kale salad, but I have grown adventurous over the years. All of their salads are amazing. And sandwiches too. The roast beef sandwich is always good and seems to be on the menu, but I haven't ordered anything bad or even marginal here. Everything is amazing.
