Quiet cafe with WiFi, seating always available. This corner cafe near bus stops features a large area for people to stand in line, seats facing windows, a restroom, and free WiFi. The WiFi has a password and customers will be able to see it when they go to check out. There is also a restroom and a few newspapers. People usually stop by for to-go orders on the way to work, so it gets busy in the mornings, but you 'll be able to find a seat.I 've tried most of their pastries before and they were decent. They come from a local bakery, so they aren 't made in-house. Their sandwiches are made to order though. There 's a selection of tea, bottled beverages, and coffee. The shot of espresso I ordered for here cost $3.25 and came in a paper cup. It was my first shot of espresso, ever, with nothing added, so I don 't have anything to compare it to, but it wasn 't bitter and left a kind of pleasant aftertaste.Overall, I liked my visits to this cafe. It 's a good place for people who want to be by themselves, people watch, and sip or eat something. But, it 's mostly a place people stop by when they 're in a hurry, not to sit down. The interior isn 't super nice, but some thought has been placed into it. The food isn 't fancy, but tasty.
As you sip a cup of well made coffee, one starts to look around and notice the finer details of Cafe Coco. The decor is well thought out and very pleasing. The employees have always been friendly and helpful. I’m happy to recommend it, clean and well lit, plenty of room and a convenient location at Geary Ave and Sixth Ave, serviced by Muni buses 38 44.
This is a reliable cafe. With a good and fresh selection of menu items. From breakfast burritos to coffee and sandwiches. Really rounded and clean place 5/5 would recommend
If you want to feel like a low life from old Alcatraz come here and deal with the attitudes from the (two) employees. And the coffee? Well, it's not Peet's.
