Unfortunately, the ambiance fell short of expectations. While the main restaurant was beautiful, we were seated in a dingy basement room that felt like a punishment. It was located next to a dirty storage room that was constantly being accessed by staff. The server was not up to par for a restaurant of this caliber – she lacked polish, was impolite, inexperienced, and lacked knowledge. The food was decent, with some courses being better than others. However, the overall experience did not live up to the hype surrounding the restaurant. I would advise skipping this place and looking for a better tasting menu experience at a similar price point.

Everything was wonderful, the venue was very pleasant. The food, service, and the surprises they prepared for our anniversary were very thoughtful. It was a fantastic experience! Thank you so much.

I gave this restaurant 4.5 stars, which I rounded up to 5 because it was more than just a meal, it was truly an experience. My boyfriend reserved chef's table seating for my birthday and it did not disappoint. The attention to detail in every course was evident, with each dish bringing a vibrant mix of flavors to the table. Some of my personal favorites included the trout prepared three ways, the sea urchin cream puff, the quail, and the cornbread caviar. I also really enjoyed the melon and marigold dessert. While all the dishes were flavorful, delicious, and creative, these were the ones that stood out to me. The only downside was that there was a bit of a wait between the first and second course, but it was likely due to the busyness of the restaurant at that time. The ambiance was lovely, with cozy and elegant interior decor. Sitting at the chef's table gave us a front-row seat to the kitchen action, which was an interesting experience. I would recommend taking an Uber straight to the restaurant as parking is scarce in the area and has gotten worse since the pandemic. Overall, it was a very special dining experience at a restaurant that truly lives up to its reputation and accolades.

The wine pairing with the tasting menu was a great experience. So many favorites but I must say the Sea Urchin PuffI can have dozens of them!! Delicious!!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+
