Bidrage med feedbackDon't know what to eat, but want a quick and delicious meal?Paik's Noodle is such a solid option. Food is good. Portions are generous. My favorite would have to be their classic Jajangmyeon/Black Bean Noodle. The noodles are nice and QQ. The sauce is well seasoned and flavorful. It has a unique flavor from the fried black bean paste. Generous sauce portion too. I always have leftovers and add it on a bed of hot rice the next day. Love that they give you a side of pickled radish as a palate cleanser. Their jjampong and tangsuyuk is pretty good too.Staff are nice. Food comes out pretty quickly. Only thing to keep in mind is that the food court can get really busy during peak times making it hard to find a seat. Overall, 4/5.
Delicious. Don’t know how to contact the owners but want to make a request. Please make it possible to do a side order of just the soup 국물 of the jjambbong 짬뽕 ! ??
Got the Jjajjangmyeon. The food here is solid! Exactly what I was expecting to get.It does get packed near dinnertime especially on a Friday or weekends, so sometimes its hard to snag a table. Not the best ambiance but what do you expect? It's convenient!
The jajangmyeon is popular here, and if you get it to go, the porky black bean sauce is packed separately so that your noodles stay perky. The Jjamppong is what stood out to me though, and it is a HUGE portion of noodles, veggies, and shrimp. Definitely will leave you full, and it's hard to resist drinking more of the lightly spicy broth.Tangsuyuk seemed popular here, but will have to hit that on my next visit!
To be fair, my rating is for the jjajjangmyeon 1 on the menu) only. Located right in the middle of the H mart food court, Paik's noodle offers up a selection of noodle dishes, along with a few different fried proteins. Since I was looking for something quick and simple, I decided to go with the jjajjangmyeon to go. I was surprised that it was only $12! They give you a number once you pay and then they use a teleprompt screen to announce/display your once it's ready. When you pick up your order, they take your number from you. The cashier had my order packed up nice and neat, with the noodles and black bean sauce in two separate containers. They give you a small side of sliced pickled radishes as well, along with a pair of chopsticks and napkins. These might sound like little things but you'd be surprised with the way to go orders are packed sometimes. My sister lives 10 min away so the food was still really hot when we got back and I tossed the sauce and noodz together. By far the BEST jjajjangmyeon I've ever had. The sauce had hella pork belly bits and was the right amount of savory and sweet. So many places overload their sauce with sugar, but Paiks got it right. The noodz were cooked perfectly, not too al dente, but not soggy at all. They were stuck together when dumped out of the container, but loosened up right away with the hot black bean sauce. Sooooo silky with the right amount of chew. This is the perfect sized portion if you're really hungry, or great as as a side with another entree my preference). My only regret was not eating this fresh at the food court. Will definitely be back to try their other dishes!
