Extremely overpriced breakfast wrap. Was a microwavable gas station quality wrap for $10. Go anywhere else
Okay, this is so random. I just realized they sell filipino breakfast here when essentially is a pizzeria/cafe style-ish type foods. Definitely good idea placing the large menu right when you enter. Great service, the person who took my order was nice and informative about what options are available and whats out.. Too bad they ran out of the sisig silog so early! I knew I should have gone earlier. Ended opting for their combo silog to try, you get to choose 2 meat over a bed of garlic rice, 1 egg, vinegar and random pineapple for sweetness? Four stars because the egg was so sad and over cooked to my liking, over easy! Foods your typical filipino tocino and hotdog nothing special. The rice-protein ratio was off so if you're jnto alot of rice, no need to ask for extra! I'd like to try their Sago drink next time when it's less gloomy this side of the city.
Used to make some decent chicken sandwich. Was made with a chicken filet and plenty of toppings. Since the pandemic , they are using cold cuts chicken and less toppings. Prices are more. Not surprised at one reviewers comment about whatever (rock???l was in his food. Maybe ownership changed, but this place isn't a good option
Café Bellini is part of a little food court at the street entrance of Mulberry Union. Lea, one of the ladies at the cash register, has standout customer service and is the wonderful mind behind their new options for Filipino breakfast. The breakfast plates come with a choice of protein, a fried egg, garlic rice, and either sliced pineapple or tomato. Do not sleep on these! I get either the longanisa or tocino once a week for lunch and it is filling and delicious. The sweet and savory cured meat compliments the garlic rice so well, and the vinegar that comes with the plate balances everything out perfectly. I can't wait to try more of their Filipino offerings last I spoke to Lea she said sisig would be on the menu soon, adding onto their other items like lumpia shanghai and halo halo. Besides these new items, I like their sandwiches and spinach and mushroom quiche. Their hot sandwiches are always a satisfying lunch, and you can order half sandwiches if you want something lighter. They also have pastries, pizza, and pre made healthy fridge options. Overall, if you are at the UCSF Parnassus campus, this is a great option to get breakfast or lunch. Come support the friendly ladies behind the counter and try some of their offerings, both established and new!
