Beretta - San Francisc

The food was great, but the service is why I'm rating this place 3 stars. My boyfriend and I went for an early dinner we arrived at 4:45pm and didn't get out until 7:00pm. (And on a Thursday night! Maybe it was a shockingly busy night, maybe they were understaffed, but waiting for any waiter to come around was ridiculous. Thank God the food was delicious. We shared the roasted beets salad (delicious! , linguini frutti di mare (really good, a little salty and the funghimisti pizza (a bit bland for my taste but my boyfriend liked it . I'd like to come back again just for the salad and pasta, but skeptical if it'll be another 2+ hour visit.

Ordered through Doordash which didn?t let us know that the food was ready, so the pizza wasn?t hot. Nevertheless, the food was really good and worth the price. Saffron arancini was interesting and less cheesy than expected, with a dip that was like heaven (if there is one! . Liked the margherita pizza more than the Funghi, but both was good. I hope this pop up stays permanent, hard to drive down to Mission!

Came to this place because it's my dogs name, so had to but it really was a great Italian spot. Good was authentic, hot, and delish. All the food was hand made, staff was good but our server switched and we had to call him to get something we needed. Cocktails were fresh, outside did have heat lamps but inside is more of the experience you'd want.

First off, this place is *popular*, buzzing with people on a Thursday night. We reserved a table in advance, ~10 minute wait after arriving. Table of five was a bit cramped but the moody lighting was lovely, if a bit offset by the loud music. Service was fairly quick and the waitresses would check on us every so often. The bartender's pizza was so delicious, would recommend 9/10. The focaccia was tiramisu was alright 7/10. (they gave us the wrong flavor gelato but it wasvery good too 8/10)

Can here for late brunch in Saturday at 1pm. Great place, lots of indoor seating with skylights, lots of outdoor seating as well. We got a paloma cocktail, a Beretta Bellini and a Nuestra Paloma cocktail, both pretty good! Got a carbonara and a burrata pizza, both were great, but the burrata one was fantastic highly recommend. Really enjoyed the experience here overall, would come again.
