Food is great (4/5) server or host or whatever she was had an awful attitude. Didn’t write down our orders on a pad; food came out wrongHalf way through our meal, she demanded we pay. Didn’t even ask how everything was or any American standards of hospitality.Too bad food is great; attitude is 0/4.The Italian manager seemed sweet and accommodating though.

The service was excellent. I arrived intending to dine in, but wound up having to change plans and take my meal to go. Major kudos to the wait staff for adapting to my needs with efficiency and aplomb; I was grateful in the moment, and impressed after the fact considering all the work they were doing with other customers.The food was also phenomenal I ordered the pepperoni pizza as a 'safe ' choice, and then the kitchen staff knocked it out of the park. Crispy crust, sweet sauce, mozzarella so good it could make you cry; after that, the pepperoni was just icing on the cake... but it was still VERY good icing.I look forward to future visits when I can explore more of the menu and be confident in Sorrento Ristorante 's professional service.

Wonderful authentic food, great outdoor dining area, the staff knowledgeable of their menu and are always willing to make custom request. The wait for a table is never too long, and the staff are great with checking in. We were constantly being checked on. Thank you to Sorrento for an amazing evening.Food: 5/5

Best customer service we’ve ever received at a restaurant! Ended up here on a whim after seeing nutella cheesecake on the menu (which was amazing) and I’m so glad we did! We also had the Hawaiian pizza which was amazing too! Multiple members of the staff checked on us as we dined. I was so impressed!! Highly recommend. We will be back!

A fun way to experience Little Italy in San Diego. To walk up and down India St and see the vibrant neighbour, and to stop and be welcomed with such warmth and hospitality. This is exactly what Sorrento Ristorante did. The welcome from the Chef’s wife at the door and inviting us in really had such a warm charm. The food was great and portions were perfect!
