Golden Island, Dimsum Asian Cuisine

Beware they will chase you for tip. Our server chase us for extra tip but gratuity was included on our bill that’s crazy and it’s just the 4 of us. Our overall experience wasn’t that great they sat us and didn’t give us time to look at the menu there were like 3 people coming back and forth asking us questions we felt rushed and overwhelmed. The food was ok nothing special. It was our first time here.

Their dim sum is ice cold inside not fully steamed and obviously not freshly made! Tea pot is also dirty. The worst dimsum I’ve ever had in SD. Yikes!

Skip this place for dim sum. Dumplings were lukewarm. Some had ok flavor. Too expensive for the quality of food.

I went there for Dim Sum around 11am. Nothing special. Typical Chinese restaurant. Nice people, good service. Food was ok. I didn't realize Dim Sum was so expensive now. I guess everything is now. I bought only 5 items and it was over $45.
