Bidrage med feedbackFor fresh local seafood this hidden gem is a must! my friends and I were a large group of six and were quickly sitting and served fresh seafood directly from the marina. the view of the sea is refreshing and relaxing.
Read the sketchy reviews and decided to eat here. the service was great, beer was cold, family friendly. eating can be improved.
Coffee is really delicious. zimt rolls super, omelets very good. service is not as good as they had only one waitress. the other was a waiter who spoke to a hospitable (friend) and nobody stopped. the waitress was wounded. I also had a glass of pina juego. I literally shaken it.
This restaurant is located in the hotel posada san cristóbal. it is an inside courtyard in the middle of the hotel with trees and a fountain. there was also a full bar closer to the entrance. eating was ok, the price averaged for a tourist. we ordered a chicken plate and a chicken mol. but the albóndigas should die. it's the best albóndigas I've ever tasted. the service was rather cumbersome, as the waiting staff was slow and ignored us. both my friend (who lives in mexiko) and I are polite and easy-going customers, but we seemed to be ignored at every row, while the few tables around us were not. I decided that it wasn't my fantasy after I had to go into the bar and after 30 minutes failed trying to get the waiter's attention to ask for the check. each time, he's blow right past us without as much as a look in our direction. we both speak Spanish, but I have to admit that I'm meeting this from time to time. Nevertheless, I found myself dreaming about this albóndigas later, and if we stayed another day, we would probably have "returned the waitress and endured, who did not want to wait to try it again.
This restaurant is located inside the Hotel Posada San Cristobal, but has its own street access. The restaurant section is in the courtyard of the hotel. In fact, I didn't even notice it was a hotel restaurant until I looked back at the pictures I...took. I guess I was too busy noticing the festive decor, colorful tablecloths, fountain, trees, and trying to flag down a waiter to help us. The service was extremely slow and apathetic, however. Despite the fact that my boyfriend is Mexican (and lives in Mexico) and I speak decent Spanish, they seemed to serve every table around us while ignoring our attempts to grab their attention to order or receive anything thereafter. I actually had to go to the bar to ask for the check. We are polite and easy customers, so it's not often we are blatantly ignored, but ...well...it was pretty blatant. Even so, we probably STILL would've returned for more albondigas . . . The menu had variety and decent prices, especially for the tourist section of town. The fried chicken and chicken mole were ok, but the albondigas plate was the best I've ever had in my life. We still dream about that albondigas . . . If we'd stayed another day, we would've gone back just to get two plates of albondigas . . . even if it took a few hours.
