Pizzeria Spaghetteria Everest

Found this restaurant when wanting a quick early evening meal after a day in Florence. The restaurant is very simply furnished but the service was great and the food far higher quality than the price tag. We had Tagliatelle all’Everest and it was fresh, authentic and tasted great. To finish we shared a Calzone Mascarpone e Nutella and it was lovely. Adding a portion of fries, a bottled beer and a glass of wine it totalled €35. One of the nicest meals we had and great value and we were very well looked after.

We wandered around San Casciano looking for a pizzeria, and almost missed this place as it was up a side street. Thankfully we went in despite thinking that it looked like a school canteen. Lots of white tables with colours chairs and place mats that looked suspiciously like IKEA's cafe. It was very busy and the service was great although they probably don't get many English speakers asking questions. They gave us a menu in English, but my husband wanted anchovies and artichokes on his pizza this got lost in translation and he ended up with no anchovies. Regardless of that, the 3 of us who had pizza all agreed that we could not remember having had a nicer one anywhere else before! It was delicious with a lovely thin base and plenty of cheese. The crucifix on the wall, with sky sports playing on a large tv on another wall was very bizarre, but each to their own!

Personale gentile e accogliente. Pizza buonissima e dei primi fantastici. Ci ritornerò sicuramente.

La Pizza è veramente ottima e ben condita, buoni ed abbondanti anche i primi piatti. Locale gestito da volontari del circolo. Adiacente al centro di San Casciano V.P. (FI). Il locale è grande e c'è spazio anche quando è pieno. A noi è capitato solo piccolo disguido sulla prenotazione ma è stato subito risolto. Attesa un po' lunga ma del resto il locale quel giorno era affollato. Prezzi modici, personale gentile e attento. Ci siamo ritornati altre volte e l'attesa è stata brevissima. Ci siamo tornati nuovamente e abbiamo mangiato un' ottima frittura di pesce, degli antipasti e buoni dolci. Locale climatizzato.
