Ryu Sushi Bistro - San Carlos

Came here years ago and loved it after I was an assessment of new property and the quality that went down, I was worried. We decided to try it and found it as excellent as we remember! Great food, nice staff and lots of food for a fair price. Love the Bento sets.

When Ryu got new management a year ago, we stopped going because we didn't like the new menu. We decided to give him another attempt when we changed the menu. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of sushi and the addition of ramen. We're going back!

Yesterday we were here for the first time. But... it's certainly not the last. We had a good time with the excellent service, with the excellent meal and wine and with the decent costs. We'll be back soon.

This is one of two places I'd consider having sushi at. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the sushi is delicious and made with some of the freshest-tasting fish I've ever had. It's also pretty cool to get complimentary edemame when you sit down.
