Rifugio Gigante Baranci - SAN CANDIDO

One of the best lunches we had during our journey to innate. everything was good, but the wrinkled schnitler was amazing!

Next to the fun bobpiste they have a series of attractions for children in a beautiful environment with green grass and large mountain landscape

Sono stata più volte durante la settimana in questo rifugio, sia per un caffè veloce o per pranzo con la famiglia. Abbiamo ordinato piselli e crema, tortellini e ravioli tirolesi. I prezzi sono un po' alti, ma la vista vale la pena. Il personale è molto cortese e attento, i bagni puliti e il cibo (almeno quello che abbiamo scelto) buono.

We went there from inside and had to return with the cable car due to the stormy weather. the location is very nice, but the place is similar to a huge almost food as a typical mountain restaurant. the external service is only...for drinks, coffee and cake. restaurant is a self service with bad offer and bad quality. eating was very bad. Sausages and potato salads were, like in the highway/airport, medium restaurants, and an escalope with a thorn sauce and crumble salad. the service was absent and as a large sunshade (approximately 260 sqm was blown by the wind, none of the workers was willing to help the guests. it is not expensive, but I would prefer to pay more and deliver proper food and service. there are many other better places. we do not recommend.

Very nice restaurant for a snack or a self-service meal. playground for the small and the possibility to hike through the forest. for those of them who do not want a boring return to san candido on the chair...lift, then they have to try the funbob: the longest summer tobob in italy. it's okay to take your little kids. max 2 persons and a maximum weight of 110kg.
