Bidrage med feedbackSome friends told me this was one of their favorite places. We invited another friend to join us for lunch. But they act as a Hamburger community when we tried to order one we said they did not serve them. We all ordered a club sandwich and it was the worst sandwich I've ever had. Everyone shared my opinion. It took forever to get the food. I can only say that the staff is very friendly.
This is one of those times when I wished Tripadvisor had 10 stars instead of 5. Maquina is significantly better than average, but, good, service is somewhat slow, as others have said, and my partners escaped was hardly an appetizer in size. I had a Portobello berry (no meat that had an oversized bread (fresh!), mushrooms, cut tomatoes and sawed onions, plus a side salad. It was delicious and filled. My partner had the Portobello Entree, who was a medium-sized cap sitting on a bed of chopped tomatoes. And that's it. She also had a green juice that was excellent. I agree that prices for the area are average (higher than nongringo Mexico). Fun decor with the trains, though only one ran, and decent view of the lake (through the electric power lines. There was another table of customers who left before we got our food that lasted over 20 minutes. In view of the portion size, we will probably not go back
Very good menu, small menu, but solid food. I can get the owner a lot and attention to the restaurant. Prices correspond to the area.
This restaurant is a hidden gem! Beautiful ambience, with all the tows. We had a beautiful view of the lake from a south table and a beautiful breeze. My wife had a delicious omelet, the homomade baked goods were also delicious. The service was good with Mexican standards. Anna the owner was so friendly. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends. Donandjen Spangler Hospitality Institute International. Fort Collins
My husband, a friend and I ate at Maquina 245 lately, and the trains, as always, were the star of the place. We each ordered hamburgers and fries that took 40 minutes to arrive, but were attractively presented. The filling inside the buns was delicious, as were the fries. The buns crumbled as we tried to lift the hamburger out of the basket, so we resorted to knives and forks to finish the meal. The staff stared at us while we ate (we were the only customers in the restaurant). I was surprised as this was my second visit here and it was quite different than the first. If you are a lover of model trains, the display is something to see, and it is the star of the establishment.
