Taqueria El Trompo - San Antonio

Delicious taqueria! they have a 100 public health review. sauces are great! I agree with another review: homemade chips would make this place over the top! the enchiladas verdes plate comes with a generous 3 enchiladas. they are the best I had in south Texas. the hamburgers are served with addictive fresh cut frries. I appreciate the keels of fresh lime and avocado slices on the plates. the waitress was patient and friendly. I'll be back!

Loved the food, well seasoned, good portion and very tasteful, the waitress might need to upgrade her customer service skills though, other than that.... food was really good.

Awesome Food and Awesome Service!! Asada and Al Pastor tacos were excellent! The mini tacos were just the right size and they don't skimp of the condiments.

Carne Asadas to die for. Used to be located on NE side, have since followed them across town at LEAST once a month because their food is so good.

This is an amazing family owned restaurant. My friends and I usually get tacos from the same taco place when we visit San Antonio, so we wanted to try out a different place this time. My friend who currently lives here took us here, and it was so amazing! Unfortunately, they ran out of barbacoa meat by the time we got there at night , so I didn't get a chance to try it to compare to the other taco place, but I did get to try the al pastor mini tacos. I got 5 of them and I was full. They were seasoned so well!! The flavor was so good. I love how generous they were with giving us the grilled onions, cilantro, and raw onions. There was a side of a sliced avocado and some limes. They also gave 2 different sauces for each person's order. They were so friendly and made our food so fast. I highly recommend, and I want to come back again!
