Rosario's Mexican Cafe Y Cantina (southtown)

We're here after five years with friends and I have to say this is phenomenal consistency. I had the spinach enchiladas (without queso fresco because I am pregnant). It was as delicious as I remember! I also had a watermelon cocktail. It was delicious and they were very helpful, not able to have alcohol. We had queso, guacamole, salsa and our food: it was much too much for four people, but we all had a delicious meal and remnants! The salsa here is so delicious with roasted peppers in it.

Beautiful delicious dinner. Enjoy our drinks. The atmosphere is beautiful in the room. Unfortunately we sat back where the lighting was too bright. But the food turned out to be a lack of atmosphere.

Had the enchiladas mexicanas for lunch today, and these were my favorite enchiladas ever. So delicious, and this red sauce was different from what I had in Enchiladas elsewhere, it reminded me of Mol, although not among the listed ingredients. And the salsa (not depicted because it served moments after I made pictures) was so satisfying smokey, it could ever have been my favorite salsa!?

Perfection! Just what we were looking for. Abigail was wonderful. She was knowledgeable and friendly. Ceviche was beautiful. Leave and let the fish shine. Griseldas Tacos were great!

We have been eating at Rosario’s for years. We live about an hour North of San Antonio but anytime we go into town it’s one of our main go to places. The have a great ambiance and when we have out of town visitors this is a great place to take them. Their fire roasted salsa is a flavor explosion. I usually get the Enchiladas Mexicanas but all the entrees a good. They have a good size bar area and they make excellent Margaritas. They also have a good selection of beer on tap as well. The waitstaff is always friendly and the food usually comes out pretty quickly even when they are packed. It can get pretty busy so expect to wait to be seated during peak hours.
