Bidrage med feedbackLunch on a busy day, with spouse and puppies; Host let us sit outside, although rain was predicted and they were very busy. Mario and Hostess gave us great service, both check us frequently. Rain and food was fabulous as always!
This place has been a main thing of us for many years because of the perfect interface of geography, well made food and price! We pulled all our friends there and many of them have become regular! The Vietnamese beef salad is a perfect example for the thin-cut beef meeting a perfect bite with the jasmine rice, green salad and the spicy and tasty ginger dressing. Lately, I think the food has gone in quality as prices are completely out of sync, I mean 16 dollars for a beef taco plate. ... really! really fall with quality! Had salmon on a salad a few days ago and from God it was not only a tail end piece but overtaken by bubbles. Too bad the expansion wasn't perfect. Update: This place took the last years really seriously and expanded its terrace seating and hygiene. Food quality has returned to old standards!
We were traveled for lunch from the city for a medical appointment and needed a place that was friendly to the dog. They were short on the staff during the busy lunch and do the best they could, but once I explained our situation and lack of time, Rick (manager/owner) said they could do it and it happened that we had our food in time and out of the door in the time to make appointment. They also took water for our dog, which was refreshing (no Pünktling lol). Eating was good and the deserts looked amazing! We will definitely go back to enjoy the terrace without time limit and get some desert!
Flavor: B Service: A+ Tea: B Solo dining: A At the recommendation of my server, I got the skinny bacon pizza. It looked awesome and I appreciated the unique creation. But unfortunately, it was way too spicy for me. Now I'm kind of a wimp when it comes to spice but I was in sweats and tears after a few bites. Perhaps next time I can request a different sauce than the tomatillo salsa base. The orange dreamsicle cake was another unique creation and I loved every bite. The service was top-notch and I'll give them another shot on some not-so-fiery food.
We've been coming here for years and I realized that I had not reviewed this place. Pam's is a delicious, friendly and consistent restaurant. They have good meal choices and we have never made a wrong choice. They have salads, soups, hot or cold sandwiches, pizzas and even nachos. Their ordering format has changed, they now offer table service with indoor and outdoor dining. Their portion sizes are generous so you can order a half portion or a full portion for leftovers. Their food is made fresh as you order it and it shows. I recommend that you bring someone with you, order two different items and share so that you can try 2 different entrees. The torta valencia is highly recommended and you cannot forget the delicious and quenching natural strawberry lemonade. We have also tried their Thai Soup (Tom Kha) and Tomato soup which are very very delicious. They rotate their soups so they may not be available every day. Thus is a great place for a weekend lunch with the family and friends. They now offer curbside as well. Don't forget their great desserts as well. Enjoy y'all.
